A very large representation in the Steelers Wider Training Squad is a good reward for a very solid season of club rugby to date. 

It is great to see the hard work on the training ground and on Ssaturdays get rewarded with this first stage of selection for the Steelers.

A few guys can be considered unlucky not to make the cut - Matt Storm who is near the top on the points table and have been in great form all over the park, Vilimae Rarasea who has bested everyone he has come up against, Savelio Ropati who looks to be really enjoying his rugby and Joe Ikenasio who is short of game time after injury will all be pushing hard to gain spots later in the club season.
